AT LEAST ONE RACE PER DAY MAY BE RACED FROM THE PLAINRIDGE DETENTION BARN. THE CLASS(ES) WILL BE NOTED ON

 

THE OVERNIGHT SHEET AND ALL HORSES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE IN THE DETENTION BARN BY THE PRESCRIBED TIME.

 

 

 

Events may be combined & purses adjusted accordingly - Horses classified on their last 5 starts may not drop more than one classe at a time – Horses with less than 10 starts in 2007-08 may be classified at discretion of Race Secretary – Wins in Mass Sires Stakes races are excluded from overnight events - Winning horses may be advanced in class regardless of earnings – Winning horses that do not advance in class may be drawn to the outside – Horses fitting a lower class may be drawn to the inside –Classes for purses of  $2,500 or less may be considered subs

 

Qualifying Races:

Tuesday May 20th  at 1:00 P.M. – Entries close at Noon Monday May 19th

 

Qualifying Standards: Pace 2:05  - Trot 2:07

2 second allowance for  3 year olds, half-mile tracks, and classes with purses of $2,500 or less

 

ALL HORSES MUST HAVE AN UP TO DATE COGGINS TESTS FOR ENTRY TO THE PADDOCK AND BARN AREAS. NO EXCEPTIONS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE REGULATION WILL RESULT IN THE HORSE BEING REFUSED ENTRANCE INTO THE STABLE AREA AND ALSO TO BE SCRATCHED. A COPY OF THE CURRENT TESTS  MUST BE ON FILE IN THE RACE OFFICE.
